Capri

Once experienced Capri, always fascinated by Capri!

Since I spent a weekend on Capri for the first time about 5 years ago, I travel there almost every year. This island with its magic captivates you so much that you don’t want to leave anymore. At least that’s how I feel.

Last year – during my longer stay on the Amalfi Coast – I spontaneously travelled to Capri again for a few days before heading back home. When I chose the Bed & Breakfast, I made a pure stroke of luck. Well, I’ll be honest… a friend recommended this accommodation to me. Luciana, the owner of the B&B, was kind enough to offer me a room on short notice (normally the IL TRAMONTO Bed & Breakfast is fully booked at that time of year).

The IL TRAMONTO Bed & Breakfast is not quite in the hustle and bustle of Capri or Anacapri – which I personally find very nice – but it is still only a few minutes away from the piazza of Anacapri. The way there is lined with many nice little cafés that invite you to have an espresso just by looking at them, and of course there are also many enchanting shops to shop in.

The accommodation is in a fantastic location with a stunning view over Capri. And what’s most important to me, as a sunset lover, is the view of a gorgeous sunset.

Luciana and her family are such lovely people. Every evening I would get either homemade pasta, a glass of wine or the delicious homemade limoncello brought to my own huge terrace. Okay… I just fibbed a bit… the terrace belongs to the family, but I was allowed to use it all for myself. Luciana is a super lovely hostess, typical Italian.

Every evening – or almost every evening – I sat on “my” terrace and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets on Capri with a glass of wine in my hand. Absolutely amazing!

I have already signed up with Luciana again this year and I am really looking forward to it. As the saying goes: once experienced Capri – always captivated by Capri!

  1. First of all I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick
question which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.

I’ve had trouble clearing my mind in getting my ideas out.
I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes
are generally wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas
    or hints? Cheers!

    1. Dear Linda, thank you for your lovely feedback. I really happy to hear that. Unfortunately its for me sometimes the same that my head is not clear before starting to write. It depends on my mood and on my time I have to sit down and start. I am so sorry, that I cannot give you a guideline on that. Take care. Cheers, Sandra!
